Content and Document Manager

Pssst TabContent managers oversee the electronic content that organisations own, including creation, storage, version control, administration and the publication of content in a range of formats. The content managed may include images, video, audio and electronic documents, and is mostly published as web content, but can also be published in other formats, such as print, DVD and PDF.

Document managers control the enormous number of documents that organisations create today, making sure that these and the information they contain are available to the right people at the right time. Generally, document management involves integrating electronic and paper-based document collections, and creating systems that enable them to be stored, identified and accessed.

Content and document managers work in a range of sectors, including business, government, education and healthcare. These roles usually combine industry knowledge with an understanding of information management principles in order to enable the organisation to best use and manage its information.
